Geometry at Play

I don't play around with geometry. It's how I learned to shoot pool. And those who know me, know that I am terrible at shooting pool. What am I even talking about? I am super behind on blogging this week, and I am sorry that I haven't replied to many emails, either. I will get back to everyone real soon, but first I am knee-deep in Wordpress transitions and work.

I love that it got chilly enough to wear this sweater again! Thank you cold front and Star at Dog&Pony!

Shorts With Tights

Hey I thought I was farther behind on my outfit posts than I actually am, so now I get to share my zeitgeist photos with you! It's a zeitgeist because Erin, Elissa, and I all wore tights with shorts this week, unbeknownst to one another, like some kind of weird phenomena. It's like the outfit version of a Steig Larsson novel up in here. Well, actually it's Texas, and it's a "cold front" and it's an awesome outfit to wear when it's not quite hot enough to bare the legs. Us Texas girls are on the same wavelength.

So, some of you have asked about what the deal is with this cooking show business I keep yammering on about.  Well, it's my dear friend Hilah's cooking show and it's called Hilah Cooking! I get to be a guest because I am always camera-ready. Seriously, I am. Just show me your camera and I will stick my head in front of your lens. Ew. Well, anyway, Hilah let me be a guest on her cooking show to help with two episodes about what to cook if you are a guy trying to impress a girl. I am really impressed by any guy who tries to cook, so it was easy. I am also Hilah's wardrobe stylist so be sure to notice that when she's wearing a belt, it's my influence!

Leopard Fever

So even though for some reason this leopard cardigan gives me a rash, I still continue to wear it because it looks good with everything. See how I suffer for fashion?

This is what I wore for the first episode I taped with Hilah Cooking. I was going for a kind of casual date look. Since I haven't been on a first date in five years, I just threw together something that felt very comfortable and very me...and I WAS comfortable, until my sweater gave me a rash.

Aren't we adorable???

Pink Red Turquoise

I'm in the midst of WordPress confusion here, folks, and still trying to get over this pollen-induced illness. WordPress is pretty confusing to me, but I think the results will be fantastic, if I could just figure out how to format that bitch, it'll be super sweet.

Today I had a super fun time shooting two episodes of Hilah Cooking! We will be showing viewers how to make food that will impress the ladies. We also laughed a lot. Tomorrow I may show you some pictures, or you can just visit my facebook page for some behind-the-scenes shots.

Oh and here I am being sassy in hot pink....

Glassy-Eyed Working Lady

The cameraman came to my job to bring my my prescription-strength nose spray, coffee, and we took these shots while we were at it. I was feeling like crap on a log of crap yesterday, but managed to throw on the brightest garb possible to throw people off. It really didn't work because I mostly just managed to sit in the corner and give myself blisters from setting jewelry all day....Luckily I am feeling better today and still wearing super bright clothing! Stay tuned....

The Word Press transition is underway, but I am hitting a few snags with the old Mac OS X operating system I have...a few more tweaks and a lot more understanding and I will be ready to roll out the new blog. Until then, more tissues, please.
